Connecticut Gunsmiths ?
Son needs some help with his Marlin 336. My nephew wants his old vintage 336 tapped for a scope mount.
I'm looking into some night sights for my FN fnx45 Any good ones here ?

.
Sorry, I can't help with a gunsmith referral. FWIW, does your nephew realize that the D/T of a waffle-top has the potential to make a desireable (to Marlin cognescenti) $400 rifle into a $200 shooter ? , |

Try Eastern Gunsmiths. In East Windsor/Broadbrook. (860)623-1223. Ask for Tom.
I had him do some work for me. Good guy. Reasonable prices.

If you're near the shoreline, try Steve Carlesco (a.k.a. "Gunsmith") at Chris' Indoor Shooting Range in Guilford.
