Spolar P/W Dillon and Shotshell Reloading
Those that reload with the above...I have a few questions.
Is there any difference in the end result, either cosmetically, or ballistically? Is there a difference in the ease of use, assuming all are manual units and both Dillon and P/W have shell feeders? Is there a difference in reliability? Of course, P/W barely has a warranty. Dillon's is great and I don't know about Spolar. I'm thinking of buying a P/W used, but a bit shy because of lack of warranty vs. the savings of a few hundred dollars. |

what i'm giving you here is second hand -- but here goes....a buddy of mine who goes all over the US shooting skeet and can afford any loader known to man recently chucked all his progressives in favor of the Spolar...says it is the best thing since sliced bread....he loads all four gauges (Don't think the Dillon can) and says the change from one gauge to another is very quick. Says it has bearings and that sort of stuff and will last forever and is built like a tank....Hope that helps....Dick
