Start 20.5 max 22.5, May I suggest getting a manual. It's money well spent and will last you years.

Hi, thanks very much for your reply, yes of course you are right and I do have the sierra manual on order, I am in the UK and I have ordered the manual direct from sierra so it will be quite a while before it gets here through customs and so on, just thought Id get a heads up on the listed load beforehand, my other 2 manuals dont give me a listing for this bullet powder combination.

Cheers

.222 rem loads

My OLD, OLD,[1970's] taack driving loads for .222 are not what you want to use. 52 or 53 grain bullet:
4198----19.0 grains
Bal-C2--22.5 grains
These loads were TACK DRIVERS then and should be today.
