Mec-Gar Mags for a CZ?

Looking for some magazines for my wife's CZ85B. The CZ made ones are $46 while the Mec-Gar ones are only $17.

Does anybody have any experience with these mags in the CZs? For nearly 1/3 of the price I'd sure like to use these if they're decent....

Thanks in advance

Mec_Gar makes the mags for CZ. I have 4 of them for my SP-01 Tactical and they work perfectly.

Mec-Gars should work just fine in your CZ. They make the factory originals for CZ,also.

Mec-Gar

These are generally good mags regardless of what gun they go in.

They are made in Italy and are the magazine OEM for several major brands of pistols. I have them for Hi-Power, 1911, and Beretta 92 and they are top quality.

My Mec Gar mags look and feel identical to my factory mags. I trust them enough to carry when I carry my CZ-75. Can't go wrong with them.

As others have said Mec-Gar mags are top notch and are OEM from several gun manufacturers. Buy with confidence.

Others have already said it above. MecGar makes CZ's magazines. They are the same. Some people aren't aware of this. I only buy MecGar mags for my CZ pistols because they are 1/2-1/3 the price of CZ packaged magazines.

I do not care for any magazine manufacturers other than buying factory mags or MecGars for the most part. Most other companies like Pro Mag produce garbage.

While Mec-Gar makes CZ factory mags, they aren't always EXACTLY the same.

The Mec-Gar "branded" mags can be built to slightly different specs. (That's not to suggest that they are in any way inferior -- they're not. They're all EXCELLENT mags.)

At different times, Mec-Gar markedk CZ mags have had different followers and capacities than the OEM mags with the CZ brand/logo. The same may be true of Mec-Gar OEM mags and their own brand of mags for other gunmakers.

I too used Mecgar mags for my CZs and I can say for sure they are of high quality, however, they are different for the P-01. The followers are different as well as the base plates. The Mecgar mags will not accept the CZ rubber base plates. Great mags though.
