I am interested in getting a Schofield for CAS. Any comments out there regarding pros and cons for the sport? One individual advised that the Schofield design is not durable. Comments?

I haven't heard any negative comments about the Schofield. Maybe Gunslinger could put in his .02 though I hear tell he's mighty busy.

I got to shoot one at my local range. I liked it. Handled well with nice balance. Rear sight takes a bit of getting used to. Its a wide shallow V type, similar to an express sight. I can't really comment on accuracy as I only fired a few shots at 7 yds. I wouldn't mind having one, but that $600 price tag is a bit steep for me.
