Dual KPV, right? I scored a parts kit for one of those earlier this year, it truly is a sight to behold, even torch cut into pieces. One day I hope to reconstitute it into a semiauto anti tank rifle sort of like the S18/1000 (another gun I'll never own )

TCB
ZU-23 (2), incredible experience watching tracers hit a target miles away

D'arcy Echols Classic Sporter model 70...

Had the required $32,000 last year about this time, but my wife made me buy a new truck instead

I'd take the plunge with the K-31.
Nope. I'm all about logistics nowadays. K31 falls completely under the ballistics umbrella of my 30-06 and my 260 Remington. If I didn't already own a 7.7 Arisaka, it might fit as my "historic" piece.
It is a very fine rifle in balance, machining and accuracy, but there's only so much room in my safe.
Similarly, 8mm Mauser, 7mm Mauser, 7.62x51 are also overshadowed by my big game/antelope stopper combo.

Well for me it's a P-08 Luger. Or a real P38. I have 2 post-war P38(p1)one is marked P38 on the slide but it not a steel frame its alloy & post-war 1963. The other one is marked P1 & is a 1982.(alloy frame) I will go to my grave wanting a P-08 Luger.

Not out of reach - a shooter will set you back maybe $700-800.

Anything belt fed.
Anything full auto
(but that's OK because is was a M60 gunner in 1968 with free ammo)

These days, I know I'll never own:

Japanese Type 5 (Japanese Garand). Last one I saw for sale was North of $23LARGE!

A Czech ZH 29 auto rifle

A M-1908 Mondragon auto rifle

A French RCS 1918 to go with my RSC 1917

I'm 70 now and while I'm not yet thinking of selling my firearms and I've only bought 1 in the last 18 months ... a M1882 Comblain Rifle (11.4 X 50R); so you can see where I'm headed there days.

A short barreled (4") minty Mauser C96 Broomhandle pistol with the six round magazine instead of the ten round.

A Colt Python with the 3" barrel

Any double barrel or magazine rifles made by Holland & Holland, Westley Richards, Rigby, or Purdey

Actually two were known, but only one survived. It was rumored that up to four others were manufactured. Kind of like finding a 1933 Double Eagle.
