870 wm mag ext, drilling out question
For an early 70's WM 20ga., built on the 12ga frame ... anyone know if the crimps will need drilled?
If a person does have to drill out the crimps to install a mag ext., does that affect the ability to remove the extension to return the gun to original? If I even do try an ext., I want to be able to ditch it if it proves unreliable, undesirable, etc. thx, Josh P |

If you are talking about those stupid dimples that you find on current Express models (ones that did not come from the factory with a mag extension), it should not be an issue. A Wingmaster, especially in that vintage, should not have them. It should instead a metal mag spring retainer at then end of the tube. This can be removed and reinstalled should you not like the extension.

Another plus for the old Wingmaster over its cheaperized sibling.
