Fun and Games...with shotguns

Had a whale of a weekend with my 870 Wingmaster. A mate of mine owns a vineyard and as the fruit is just starting to ripen, the local birdlife is starting to get into it. So, in an effort to protect his crop, my mate is giving (!!!) as 12 gauge skeet ammo, and paying us (!!!) to shoot all the birds in his vineyard. Now, blasting a blackbird with a 12 gauge may not seem very sporting, but its really hard, consitant shooting against quick moving and fast targets. We had a great time, and each gun shot off about 250 rounds in 4 hours. At one stage the 870 was so hot I couldnt touch the barrel without burning my fingers. Great fun, and highly recommended.
