Going to stop posting videos to the board

I've been giving this a lot of thought lately, and I've decided to stop posting links to my videos on the discussion boards. I put one out on the Handgun-Autoloaders board this morning, and I think it will be my last.

I'm concerned that the community here sees posting videos as just trolling for views. Actually, I only get about 5% of my views from discussion boards. I post them here because I used to find the feedback helpful. I think it helped me make my videos better.

But I rarely get feedback anymore, and I think I may just be annoying members by posting the links.

Hopefully, those of you who do enjoy them are subscribers anyway.

I'm still going to read the board, and post comments. I love this board...I always learn something...just no video posting.

I've always enjoyed your videos.
Too bad you won't be posting the links any longer.
I was not subscribed to your channel before but I will be sure to do so now.

Thanks for the hard work.

If it's of any value, I've been subscribed to your Facebook page for quite a while, so I see your videos there. And I usually don't leave feedback there or on Facebook, mostly because it would all be variations on the theme of "great video, keep 'em coming!"

I also have watched your videos and enjoyed them and also learned from them, and I would certainly like to see more.
I do not know if I did link from here, or if I just otherwise found you on the internet.
But I think you should continue to post here so that those who otherwise would not get your videos can do so here.
It's really something for the viewer.
And I do not believe anyone here objected to it.
I don't think they need to post comments which do nothing but pat you on the back, good job, good video, etc. Maybe that is why they do not post.
I cannot give you advice to make your videos better, as I think they are as good as can be as is.

Not annoyin' me, Mike. I appreciate your videos and spent a couple of hours each of the last 2 nites gleaning info about BP stuff. I like the historical emphases, also. Just haven't joined there, yet. Not social enough, I guess. Keep it up.

Well thats a shame

I will miss them, Just was recommended and watched the on one on the Lemat.. Which of course answered my question..

Perhaps you would get more comments if you made more Mistakes or left something out.. or maybe mumbled..

But after you do the video there usually nothing more to add to one..

This is entirely your call and will respect your feelings. I personally feel that you are doing a dis-service, to folks. I not only find them informative but educational. I have replied to some that I can relate to but certianly not all. I have also recommended your videos to others and they are about as close to a hands-on that you can get. I do understand the time and effort that you put into these. I keep looking for something that I take exception to and so far, no luck. ... ..

Once again, I thank you and;
Be Safe !!!

You have great videos. You made a few errors in some of the early ones but I think they're all spot on now.

I wish you well Michael concerning your decision. For myself I've looked forward too and enjoyed over 9-months, every one of your video's I was able to watch. You’re freely given time, talent, and articulate ability in explaining a firearms functions & addressing its material and handling qualities was without hesitation informative to many. Especially so for me. I will certainly miss that on screen friendly smile of yours.

BDM,
I hope you are not stopping the postings on all the boards. I generally see them first on CAS-City and would not have seen ANY of them if it weren't for this and other boards. I don't spend a lot of time on you-tube.

So, you used us to perfect your skills and now you're dumping us??? I feel so used . Mike if you want to keep posting links here, I don't think it will do anything but improve OUR skills. Will miss 'em.

As with others here, I have enjoyed your vids. as well...and 'Thank You' for your time and efforts in making them.

Have not watched all of them but the ones I've watched, have found them to be done well.

Do what you must, but the vids. will be missed.

Please don't stop. They are NOT annoying nor "trolling", but rather educational, informative and enjoyable!

You've looked at both sides of a coin and made a decision that suits you.

Thanks for what you have done. You went to considerable trouble to inform and entertain. It was appreciated.
