Blck Powder Discussion Board
I have been messing with bp revs for about 30 years, but never did anything online which was bp related. I am setting up a black powder site with a discussion board in which I would like to cordially invite everyone to come join.
The forum boards are not quite complete. I would appreciate any sugestions on what to add to it to make it better. I will be joining in on the discussions here as 1838SixGun. I am SixGun at [REMOVED Last edited by 1836SixGun; June 30, 2010 at 05:49 PM. Reason: Removed link |

Is this intended to be black powder cartridge or traditional muzzle loading?

Personally- I would include black powder cartridge. Years ago Dixie Gun Works had their Annual magazine and it covered both and for that it was unique- I miss that publication. In any event I can't see why adding black powder cartridge would do any harm- I don't know of any sites where topics like sharps, spencers, etc are discussed.
And, be SURE to let us know the site when it's up and running. |

Traditional Muzzle Loading vs Black Powder Cartridge
Rifleman1776, I thank you for bringing this topic up.
Powderman, thank you for the link. After reviewing the forum, I will either set up another board on the forum or a separate SMF forum. Not sure which. Last edited by 1836SixGun; June 29, 2010 at 12:14 AM. |

A Collector's Forum
The collecting of replica percussion revolvers is one of the fastest growing area of firearms collecting, yet, thus far there is no Forum that concentrates on this area of discussion or sharing. It is mixed with shooting information which on some forums is cross productive having to deal with the limited mind set of "replicas are for shooting not collecting". The RPRCA web site http://rprca.tripod.com has received over three quarter of a million hits which definately shows an interest in collecting as well as shooting. It would be nice to have a forum that deals exclusively with collecting.
