Anyone own a BAT, Defiance, Borden or Kelbly action?
Does anyone own a BAT CT, Defiance Rebel, Borden Alpine or Kelbly Atlas Tactical action for a .308 - what do you like/dislike about them and why?
I'm looking to purchase a custom action for a hunting rifle. I'm after an action that is rugged, reliable and cycles/ejects even when dirty and those are the choices I've narrowed it down to. Last edited by Loyal2no1; July 2, 2015 at 09:57 AM. |

BAT action
I have a BAT 3 lug single shot, left port, right eject, for F Open competition, chambered in 6.5x47 Lapua. It is a quality piece of workmanship.
I would not choose it necessarily for hunting, but BAT do make a magazine type action. I have not personally inspected one, but based on my experience with the single shot, I would feel confident buying one. BAT makes good stuff. |
