rail mounted laser for m&p40
never having owned a laser I am now looking for one. is there a decent one recommended in the $100 to $150 range. if there were a combo laser/light that would even be better. it will be mounted on a M&P 40 used for range duties and HD. thanks in advance

Crimson Trace makes a killer laser that is not rail mount but grip mount that hids the electronics in the removable palm pad....
http://www.crimsontrace.com/Home/Pro...5/Default.aspx that is for the full frame...they have one for the compact too....but WOW....FIRST TIME I LOOKED AT THE PRICE !!!!! almost enough to purchase another M&P !!!!

I have one of the Crimson Trace units for my wife's MP. Still haven sighted it in, but its nice and compact as hell. The price however is up there to say the least. May want to consider saving a couple of months though,as its a NICE unit.
Have no experience with rail mounted units, but about the "cheapest" I have seen are the LaserMax ones at $189. I'd be wary with cheap... you get what you pay for and you just may end up betting your life on it, or the lives of your loved ones.

You're much better off with a grip mounted laser like the CT.
