Forster turner pilots, ONT and HOT?

Does anyone know if the pilots for the (Forster) Original Neck Turner (ONT pilots) are the same ase the pilots for the Hand held Neck Turner (HOT pilots).

I'm sure they are not, but what the heck, why not ask to see if someone knows for sure, right?

I don't get a reply from Forster.

Here are the web links to the two p/ns:

The Forster site seems to be down at the moment. I was going to suggest you try telephoning rather than wait for an e-mail response.

Well, Forster is back on line, but your two links are identical, both going to the HOT pilot. I found the other on my own, though. The pictures make it pretty clear that for the HOT pilot, the wider part is on the right side, while for the ONT pilots it is on the left.

I've obviously not handled both (not handled their neck turner at all, in fact), so I can't say whether there is more to it than that? In other words, I'm fun to talk to, but no help.

oops...

LOL, thanks for the clarification Uncle Nick!

Sorry about screwing up the links. I just fixed that now (edited the post).

Wild Willy, is the end of the mandrel that sticks into the case longer, or is it the keyed end of the mandrel that inserts into the lathe that is is longer?

Both ends on the hand held are longer I tried the pilots in each tool. Using the lathe one in the hand turner you have to have it out so far that its not supported very well.Using the hand held in the lathe it won't go in far enough
