.45-70 lever evolution rnds.

My marlin 1895 won't even take them jam up right out of the ammo tube. I've tried a lot of different ammo when I first bought the gun, and everything else worked fine. I've heard a lot of good things about the ammo so wanted to try ,but that didn't work.
Any suggestions or anyone with a similar problem???

You now have lots of choices for the 45-70. The Leverlution gives you only a better BC so it gives a bit flatter trajectory >From what I hear they are a bit fragile .You won't miss much without the Leverlution !

Just to be clear, Is it failure to feed from the carrier into the chamber or is the carrier unable to travel up (I think that's what you meant by jamming out of the magazine, but wanted to make sure)?

Just to check this isn't defective ammo, what is the COL you measure?

The only other thing that occurs to me, if the COL is right, is the tips catching or dragging. Look at the one that wouldn't feed and see if you see marks left on the tip. You could color one with a dry erase marker and look for scraping. If it's a sliding issue, try rubbing the tips against some paraffin wax.
