Ammo for Rem 1858 conversion

Is 45 cal. long colt the same as 45 cal. cowboy ammo. What do I need for my Uberti Rem 1858 44 conversion . Thanks Ken

It's the same chambering but .45LC factory ammo has different bullet styles and velocities.
So while it's the right cartridge the choice of which specific ammo to buy is yours. Not all .45LC is cowboy ammo but many .45LC ammos are pretty close.
