Hey there pros! The topic speaks for itself.
I saw the new millennium mount but have not felt it's weight so I'm not sure if it's too heavy. Or is a simple sure fire with simple bracket and pressure switch the way to go? I understand the millennium is a bit pricey but if the reviews from you professionals are good I guess I'll consider it. Thanks in advance. |

BMC,
I'm moving your post to the Gear and Accessories Forum, where I expect you'll get faster and more expansive responses. Mykl |

BMC,
I also considered the Millenium but I decided I wanted something more light weight. I went with the TACMIII, and I feel it is an excellent unit for the price. Here is the discussion about the TACMIII on AR15.com... http://forums.ar15.com/Forum27/HTML/000043.html __________________________________________ Ban the bans. http://members.xoom.com/urbansniper/home.html |

Unicron, how does the light output compare with a Surefire 6P ? I know that TACMIII also comes as a stand alone flashlight and want to know how it rates with a 6P.

CAK,
I actually like the Surefire light better than the TACMIII. But I like the TACMIII AR15 mount better than Surefire's. I recommend you get the TACMIII AR15 mount with the Surefire light. |

I've got a millenium light for my carbine. It dosen't add much weight and is very ergonomic. One thing I like is no exposed wires. The amount of light output is awesome. These are my observations and as always YMMV. Later, Byerly
