Bayonets

1. Best place to buy them on the net, for price & selection?

2. Typical price of a US 1917 "P17 enfield" bayo? I saw them for $150 today at gun show - are they really this much?

3. Price of 1903 bayo? - these were $225 at gun show.

Thanks.

They are rather expensive but that is rather overkill on the price. You be able to find them considerably cheaper on ebay. One of the bayonets for the 1903 springfield for instance on there from 1917 is currently going for $30, but most go in the $100 range. WW2 US bayonets normally go for about $70-80. A hefty amount but still not bad compared to what you were seeing at the show.

Thanks; yeah as usual, they're just skimming for the suckers at the gun shows. Depends on condition too, of course, and these were nice condition, granted. But I think I'll shop online at ebay instead as you suggest. Gun shows, like retail stores, are becoming increasing irrelevant, and for entertainment purposes only, and internet shopping is becoming more and more relevant as the substitute.

Anyone know if this one will work on my Ishapore 2A? It's for the "No. 1", and the Ishy is based on the #1. I would check, but rifle is at friend's house right now.
