Bagged my first Bow Hunting Deer this past Saturday!

Thanks for all the advice on the other threads, everyone!

I bagged my first deer (that I recovered) this past Saturday - a 4 pointer, 3 on one tine, single tine on the other...same hit as the other deer, will I never learn? Anyways, waited an hour, spooked it, waited another hour, tracked it for a half hour, spooked it again, watched it run 60 yds, stop, stand for 15 mins, lay down and took another 1.5 hours for it to die. All in all, 4 hours and 400 yards from when/where I hit it. Just nicked the lung and demolished the liver...

Had some backstraps on Sunday, and some stew on Tuesday, and some burger last night, omg it was all delicious, best tasting deer ever, maybe the joy adds to it.

Big body and neck, not big antlers, but it's going up on my wall anyway!

Thanks everyone again!
