Does anybody know if it is feasable to have the magazine on a Savage 10FP modified to hold 5 rounds instead of 4? And also have a trap door installed for unloading? I have a Howa 1500 Lightning that has spoiled me to no end. The Savage is a great gun except for this one minor drawback. I have ordered one of the Choate Ultimate Sniper stocks for the Savage too. I mean, I KNOW the modification can be done, but are we talking 100's of $ or what? Thanks.

Mesa, this is something I've never been asked to do so I don't really know what it might cost you. You might contact the Small Arms Shop at http://www.savageparts.com. They should know someone who does this. George
