Today's Active Topics Search Question

When I come into TFL I usually start by clicking Today's Active Topics. I then see the topic, name, date, and forum. However, the name does not necessarily correspond to the topic originator or the last responder. What gives?

I don't use the feature. Being curious, I went and tried it. The name attached to each topic seems to correspond the the name of *todayy's* first contributor to that thread. Make sense?

If you guys keep making me work my brain like this, we're gonna raise membership dues!
