American Precision Arms used to be Patriot Arms. I don't know about the rings... never used them, but they do make a really nice billet AR lower with an extended and flared magwell.

Look closely at the setup. . .That is primarily a test of the 8 ring bolts.

Also, does your rifle recoil like this? Mine recoils more front to back. YMMV!!!

Good point Nathan. Recoil on scopes is more backwards.

Anyway, they did say it was redneck testing.

Most scopes and rings break from rifles being dropped or thrown around....not recoil.

Worrying about ring strength is not high on my list of concerns. As long as they hold them in the same place and they keep zero that is all I need. The scope will break long before even the cheapest rings will.
