Hey, that's a 7.65 Browning "safety cartridge". It locks up the action when you fire it, since the bullet doesn't even make it out of the case.

I put a 110 gr 308 bullet in a 32 acp case in a Kel-Tec P32 with welded up feed ramp and barrel extender. The recoil was too much for the ejector, and was sheared off.
Normal 32acp ammo will penetrate 1" of Douglas Fir from that pistol. That round penetrated 5" of Fir.

Almost like the 5.45x18, but a .30 cal variant. Basically a baby, subsonic rifle round.
The 5.45x18 fired a projectile weighing roughly 40 grains at 1000fps, from a short 84mm (3.3inch) barrel. Pretty much a .22LR in terms of energy and speed. Yet, the 5.45×18mm 7N7 (7Н7): spitzer-pointed full metal jacket bullet with steel conical core it is stated to be capable of penetrating 45 layers of Kevlar soft body armor at close distances. |

It's just a 150gr 308 I have for loading in the Garand. The 308 tracer bullets looked even more goofy!
