Troy vtac alpha rail. I'm not sure if I was an isolated case, but the three mounting washers inside the rail didnt fit over my low profile gas block. Had to take one off, pull the rail half on, then reinstall the washer&screw.

It looks like it's part of the receiver. Very nice build!

The only black semi auto rifle I have is a 597 .22lr. Maybe this is the wrong thread for this rant, but I don't care for synthetic stocks. Wood feels better and looks aren't even comparable. I have 5 all black guns. 2 are range toys, 1 of which is a revolver, and the other 2 are hunting rifles. I do have a Draco but it has wood furniture that I refinished.

Not particularly evil, only a little black and nothing really that special. I liked the wood that was on it but I was dinging it up in the brush. It came with rails for all sides but you may notice that I didn't put them on....avoiding snags.

You can make slings like that from paracord, I've made some similar. The rifle posted above now has one but not as wide.

I can do what I want, whenever I want
,,,,, it’s also the only room I get in the house, she’s very understanding.

LOL, wish I had a room, the dog house hurts my back and is very drafty.

Cool looking pics BTW.

Don’t mean to hijack this thread but they were taken to make up an entire photograph collection for my wife. Name, caliber, SN and value. I just lost a very good friend that had 48 guns and his wife had no idea what he had or what they were worth. One “friend” told her that a WW1 455 Elie 1911 was only worth $500. Luckily I got that stopped.
It’s something to think about if you have a significant collection.
Sorry for the hijack.

Icedog just go to tinypic.com and upload them there and once they upload it'll give you a [IMG] code to copy then you just paste it into the reply box.

Great pics all around. But one question:

Why do all of the M-4 look alike AR-15s have the M-203 cutout on the barrel?

Mine just happened to come with it. I guess it would be good to have if you're fighting zombies and are hold up in an army base lol.

Hey! What is this?

Some of these guys posting are putting up pictures of some exceptional firearms...

...and have the nerve not to tell us about them? For shame!
