How is TiteGroup for muzzle flash?

Just bought a pound of TiteGroup. Trying a new powder. Have been using Unique, which I like, but its dirty and I wanted something cleaner.

Did some research here, and TG seems to get good marks, but I don't recall seeing any comments on how it rates for muzzle flash? Whaddaya say?

To get some brass for my new .45acp, I shot a box each of Winchester White Box, and Remington UMC. BIG difference in muzzle flash. WWB was pretty low. Remington was a MAJOR fireball.

Hmmmm, I'm assuming the WWB uses a Winchester powder?

Anyway, how is TiteGroup for muzzle flash?

Titegroup burns cleaner if you mix at upper mid level and above range. In 45 ACP, 4.6 grains is a great plinking load, but sooty as can be (but nowhere near as dirty as the old Unique or factory S&B). 5.0 gr burns clean as a whistle.

TG Flash in my guns is pretty minimal. Power Pistol, H110 and others are MUCH more of a light show.

I like TG. It's cheap to use and if nudged a little, it is clean. Position insensitive and temps variation doesn't seem to affect it. It chronos consistently.

It's not louder than anything else in the 45 or 500SW, but in 40 and 10mm it is LOUD.

Well I have yet to really put TG to the test in 45 acp but I have tried the 5.0gr. load already mentioned and it worked great for me and it was clean with low muzzleflash. This has also been the case with 40 S&W which is the caliber i use TG in the most with a 160 gr. lead round nose and i believe it was 4.5 grs. this works great. Plus TG meters really well in my Dillion 550. Hope this helps as myexperience with TG has all been positive.

The gun shop I get my supplies from has lately been a little short on powder so i had to get what was available.I bought red dot powder from him and loaded up some 240 gr.L hard cast bullets with 8 gr.of powder.Accuracy seems ok,muzzle report not too bad and seems to be clean shooting.does anybody have any experience with this powder? how does it shoot for you? What is your max load? will be shooting them out of my sbhawk 45/8 bbl.
