My wife gave me one for Christmas she bought it second hand .It came with an extended tube, beamshot laser, And has a modified choke. The wood work is beatiful. She paid 550.00. Is that a good price?

rooster,
If you are happy with the gun and your wife is happy that she was able to do this for you, don't worry about whether or not you spent too much. Don't ask this question unless you want someone to tell you you got hosed or they could have got you one cheaper. Then you both will feel cheated. Give your wife a big hug and a kiss and go shoot your new shotgun. You will both be happy then. Cat |

Okay, you asked for it:
A 100% Perfect condition NIB model (last manufactured in 1981) is worth: (according to page 1239 of the 19th edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values) $495 A typical 95% is worth $365, add in the cost of the laser and a little for the dealer and she might have gotten a decent deal. ------------------ -Essayons |
