Buffalo Bore Customer service issue
I recently ordered a box of (50) 454 Casul bullets directly from Buffalo Bore. These are premium grade 360 grain bullets at a premium price. I discovered one (1) bullet with no crimp. I wrote and email with pictures to address my concerns and asked “what was BB going to do to keep my business?”. As a consumer, I consider this a valid question. Here are excerpts from the response I received from Tim Sundles:
“First, I am not motivated one bit by a person who writes “what is BB going to do to keep my business”. I never want to see a defective round leave here, ever, and if I achieve that level of quality, your business ( and everyone else’s) will follow automatically, without me prostituting myself by running around asking for your business. PLEASE, no more of this “what is BB going to do to keep my business” crap. I’m too old to run after business. So I am going to forward this email to my web master and have him look up your order information up and when I can determine what you ordered, I will send you a check for the defective round. Hopefully someday you’ll age/grow to understand where I am coming from.” Last edited by billytracy; April 20, 2013 at 07:11 AM. |

Gotta agree with BB on this one. Granted, you had a legitimate complaint, but starting off the resolution process with a thinly-veiled threat wasn't the way to go.
At least you didn't go with the "What are you going to do to make me 'whole' again?" route - that one ticks me off. Last edited by ScottRiqui; April 20, 2013 at 10:40 AM. |
