They fit in my RockChucker...I dont ever remember hearing about any RCBS proprietary press. Lyman hand tools and Dillon SDB are the only 2 I know of that take different sized dies.

Interchangeability

Thank God the manufacturers mostly had some good sense when reloading presses were first marketed--They realized that they'd all sell a lot more stuff if the presses and dies from various manufacturers were interchangeable.

Montels has correctly identified the only 2 exceptions AFAIK.

Think how it'd be today if reloading were just beginning to be promoted, and the design and marketing were in the hands of slick young MBA's!! (For a horrible example of this, consider cross-country ski boots and bindings! :barf: )

It wasn't always that way, Joe.
The 7/8x14 thread (and T-slot detachable shellholder) were introduced by Pacific who was at the time a big name in handloading, and picked up by other companies like the upstart RCBS.
