Can anyone share with me a good place to mail order primers? I know that I'll have to pay the haz mat fee. Even with the extra $12 fee tacked onto a $100 order, the price per 1000 will still be cheaper than $20. $20 per 1000 is the price I would pay around here locally. Any suggestions?

This brings up the larger issue of the HAZ MAT fee UPS charges. Talked with a gentleman at Hodgdon and he stated that UPS really doesn't want to handle "Hazardous Material" any more and they are hoping "that" business goes elsewhere eventually.Hence the constant rise in the fee. The man at Hodgdon said that they are using Roadway Package Services to ship there own orders because they are much more receptive to their business. Perhaps if enough customers requested it of the mail order companies dealing in components this could make some changes occur. Not sure about FEDEX.

Graf&Sons is a pretty good outfit for me with components. 800-531-2666 OR Midsouth 888-272-3000 OR Creasy's 540-562-4440

I have an old Graf and Sons catalog from '97. They have CCI 500 at 14.24 per 1000. I called today to get a new catalog and request a price but their computers were down. Does anyone know what the current price is?

Wideners will ship primers or powder, and shipping is included in their prices on these items. Last I looked they wanted $75 for 5,000 and $140 for 10,000. Tough to beat outside of a gun show.

I don't know if Wideners has a web site. I would think so.
