Grips, Guns, and control, a properly fit handgun will improve your shooting

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8QgKQNa-0Y

I did quite well shooting my S&W 325 with the standard, issued rubber grips, but, and there always is a but in life ... the rubber grip puts grip between your hand and the frame, which changes the trigger length to operate the trigger efficiently. Today I switched to Hogue wooden grips, which puts the frame right up against the web of your hand. The super light scandium frame barks as it is, and with the removal of the rubber barrier between hand and frame would it be hard to handle.

This is the question I asked today in my pursuit of a better defensive handgun. I took it to the range to sort it out, and the video shows the results and more.

Liked the way you were staging that trigger while doing your slow fire, indoor shooting.

As always, enjoyed your vid.

Shortwave

It is fun to tweak your carry gun and finally get it the way it works for best for your use.

Are you a ham? I note the shortwave name. I have been a ham since 1964!

Try shooting and sending code with a straight key at the same time hehehehhe

Nicely done Wild Bill. Myself I prefer rough grips or the rubber ones.

The finger notch does the same as rough grips, makes it hard to slip on the hand...
