Windham Weaponry AR-15
I took my WW AR-15 out for the first time to the range and put about 100 rounds through it. I'll have to say, that thing is a hoot! I had a good time putting round after round through the paper target! It never skipped a beat. I'm very pleased. Anyone else have a Windham? Have you had any trouble?

My first AR was a Bushy Shorty made in that same plant. It never fails, after thousands of rounds.

I've shot/inspected my buddies HBAR version a lot and it's a very well built AR that performs well. For around $750, they're tough to beat.
But, since some are starting to realize that, I'm guessing the price will go up soon.

A new Windham varmint exterminator is 1099.00 at local gun shops around here. They are an excellent accurate rifle with a transferable life time warranty.
The fit and finish is second to none. |

I too have been considering purchasing one, for my first AR. Sounds like folks are very happy with them. Has anyone run alot of steel cased ammo thru theirs? Any issues, other than needing more cleaning? Any mention of using steel cased ammo in their warranty?

I have a Windham SRC, put about 200 various rounds (including my handloads) through it so far without any trouble.

I had one until I traded it for an LAR-8. I shot 5000 rounds through it. Performed great. I had a LMT sights on it.
