i practice point shooting with my keltec p32, just at targets <20'.
i also practice firing as i bring the gun up into "battery", starting from the hip.

Point and shoot.
If you do a lot of plinking instead of standard target you'll get better faster.

Never forget that point shooting is a compliment--not a replacement--for sighted shooting.
