Fisrt testing with CFE 223 and 250 AI

Yesterday, I loaded and fired my first groups with CFE 223 in a 250 AI. These were fired with a double duty hunting rifle and long range F class shooter. I call it my spare parts gun. Built on a used Rem 788 ($150.00), used Kriegger SS heavy match barrel ($100.00) trimmed to 22", used Nikon Monarch 5.5X20 44mm target scope ($200.00) and used 788 Timney trigger. Total cost was under $650.00. Needless to say it is very accurate.

These loads were fired at 100 yards with Sierra 25 cal 100gr HPBT bullets, seated touching the lands. First target had one shot fired to zero. After that all were shot with the same zero and five shot groups. I did not chronograph the loads as I was shooting for groups, wish now I had. Will do so this week.
