A.R.M.S. Scope Mount for M1A
Is anyone using the new type A.R.M.S.#18 Scope Mount on thier M1A ? The new type has a full length rail. I would like to know how it is working for you. I am thinking about buying one because it is the lowest mount that I have seen , but have to wonder if it might be so low that the brass might not clear it .Does the brass hit the scope ? Does the brass ever hang up in the action ? I would appreciate any comments on the subject. Rich

ARMS Scope Mount
Thanks for your reply. Was the mount that you used the " ARMS #18 " ? I have the Springfield Armory 3rd Gen. mount on my M1A , it has a rail and works fine but it is too high for proper cheek weld. The ARMS mount is MUCH lower. So low that I have to wonder if the brass hits the scope on the way out, or if it gets hung up in the action. So far you are the only one that has replied to the thread that I posted. I have to wonder why nobody is using the ARMS mount. Thanks again, Rich
