6.5X55 Swedish Mauser
I just finished building a custom 6.5X55 Swede with a 1:9 twist barrel. I have not had a chance to work up any loads for this rifle. I'll be using it this deer season. Any suggestions for accurate loads. Thanks

Welcome to the Wonderful World of SixFive
129 Hornady under the proper charge of slow burning powder, like RL-19, IMR 4831, or IMR 4350 and you're ready.

According to barrel maker Lilja, the 9 twist is ideal for 140 gr bullets and will shot 130's quite well.
IMR4831 and IMR4350 have been good with 139-140 gr bullets. RL-19 gave higher velocities but RL-22 gave better accuracy.
