Browning a-5
I have a browning a-5 light 12 made in belgium in the earky 70's. My forearm has cracked to the point where the gun is currently not useable. Ive been looking online for a nice high grade walnut replacement forearm (and possibly a matching set) but i havent had much luck. Most places that have them are sold out. wondering if anyone knows where i can get one.
Thanks

Yeah i called on theyre matched sets and they were out. Im kinda looking for a matched pair because my buttstock is really beat too (grampa accidently left it on top of his car after pheasant hunting and drove away ) So i guess im kinda asking if anyone knows of any matched sets out there. And i do plan on calling midwest back sometime soon

Just cracked?
In this image, the rear stock of this 336 is repaired. It was involved in a rollover suv wreck that left it in 4 pieces. My dad likes to piddle with wood working and used some "west system" epoxy and put it back together. I am confident it will never fail. Good luck no matter how the fix goes! Brent |

You might try this guy. Maybe he can try to match up something for you.
http://www.gun-parts.com/browningstocks/ I've bought parts from him before and he was OK to deal with. |

the forearm on the A-5 is probobly about an 8th of an inch thick and its split from one end to the other with a 1" by 3" chunk missing. I dont think i can fix it, and thats why i was looking for a new one. Ill definately try gun-parts.com and see what i can find there. thanks for the help.
