7mm. Rem. Magnum help....

I am getting ready to begin loading for my 7mm. magnum. I would like to load the 139 grain Hornady SST, or the 150 grain Nosler Accubond. I am looking for a load as close to factory loads as possible, and not having a chrono at this time I am not sure. Does anyone out there have a load that is close to factory. I am loading for a Ruger M77. Thanks.

If you will look in a Nosler reloading manual I think you will find IMR4350 to be a top performer with a 150 gr bullet. You might also consider RE-19 and H-4831.

I never bothered with the lighter bullets, myself.

As HiBc already mentioned the Nosler #6 loading manual has the IMR4350 as their top performer, I second that, I also use IMR 4831 with the 150 grn Ballistic Tips.
Now if you move up to 160 grn Accubonds, I use the IMR 7828 for that.

The Hornady Custom ammo that features the 139 grn BTSP is also very accurate out of my 7mm mag.
I have also a 140 grn Accubond load using IMR 4831 for it.

I digress now....

In the several 7mmRM I've owned or loaded for, I've not gotten the best performance out of 139s. 150 and, particularly, 154 Hornadys have given great results with IMR 7828 and H4831. There is a lot of variance in chambers, so consult a loading manual. I'd get a box of 150 WW or REM at Wally or Academy and measure your cases for a good baseline.
