Oddball Enfield Range Report
http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=510459
Well I took the "British Bulldog Tanker" out and fired it just to see how it would do. This is an old battle rifle so I was not expecting anything like sub-MOA. I fired 10 rounds off hand unsupported. 50 yards and 75 yards. All shots were inside a 6" paper plate with surplus '64 ammo. Kick, noise, muzzle flash were all negligable but not unpleasant to shoot. Had to really concentrate on the trigger pull (B.R.A.S.S.) as the trigger is terrible but not bad for a battle rifle produced during WWII. It was really fun. I think it's a good B.O.G./Truck gun. |

I saw one of those rifles at a show this weekend.....in .308 and was tempted.
But I ended up spending my money on AK ammo. |

I would have grabbed one in .308 in a skinny minute! What was the dime on it?

sounds like a nice little shooter. we have a set of 75 yard metal "swinger dinger" targets and man it's fun to nail them with the enfields.
