"Mexican beauty queen arrested in gun-filled truck"

Zuniga was arrested shortly before midnight on Monday at a military checkpoint in Zapopan, just outside the colonial city of Guadalajara, said Jalisco state police director, Francisco Alejandro Solorio.

Zuniga was riding in one of two trucks, where soldiers found a large stash of weapons, including two AR-15 assault rifles, .38 specials, 9mm handguns, nine magazines, 633 cartridges and $53,300 in U.S. currency, Solorio said.

When I saw the headline "gun filled truck" I was thinking that there would be 50-100 AK's loaded in the back or something like that. Leave it to the leftist anti press to turn 2AR's, a handful of handguns, and a few boxes of ammo into a fearmongering, eyecatching, hysteria-filled headline. If these jokers want to see what a "gun filled truck" really looks like all they need to do is wander around the Deer Creek Shooting Center on a warm summer afternoon...

Oh, my dear God. I must not let a beauty queen near my house. I think I have a bit more than they uncovered there, including the monies, sitting around house. They would have a field day with me--and countless others.

after all the hype about banks going down, i,ll bet alot of older folks have taken to hiding their cash around there property. it may not be right but they remember the great depression, where no body had real money. eastbank.

Given the laws in Mexico and the history of the two hombres she was with I would say this was not your normal group going to the range.

I for one though was impressed by her guns

Yep. But I will be taking most of it in and buying a CD from a local credit union after Christmas. Seems they will give me 4%. With what I am getting from Wells Fargo, I just as well put my money in my mattress. These are tough times. That is why I play with my black powder pistols and revolvers. It is my last bit of entertainment until somebody comes and takes it all away.

(P.S. I think she is concealing .38 Specials. I volunteer to pat her down.)
