f g benedict

I have a chance to purchase an F.G. Benedict flintlock muzzle loader. Has anyone heard of this maker ? Any info would be appreciated as i don't have a clue as to what to offer for this gun. All i can say is its a beauty... really nice curly maple and appears to be in good shape.
.
Thanks for the help

I suspect that he is a modern maker. Check the AmericanLongRifleforum.com and write the Contemporary American Long Rifle Association to see if they have anything on him.
