Nice! Picked up 6# of Unique and got free shipping by entering "ship49" promotional code. Not my first choice of powders for 45acp reloading, but beggars can't be choosers. I refuse to pay $50+ per pound to the scalpers on gunbroker.com.

Thanks!!!

Not exactly "free" shipping--they will call you and add the hazmat fee. Their checkout has no way to add it. But still, the regular shipping is waived, so that's a bonus.

Can't believe it's still available. I picked up 4 lb of red dot.

Thanks to Gadawg88 for posting.

Yep, I wasn't expecting to get out of the hazmat charge.

LOL....and not 10 minutes later....I get a call from a buddy who bought 4lbs of Titegroup on my behalf. So now I've got a lifetime supply of powder. <groan>

Guess I'll be shooting a lot more often.

Supposedly, if you can do ship to store and pick it up you don't get charged for the hazmat or the shipping. I have not done it myself, but it came up on another forum and was confirmed by multiple sources for what that is worth. Good to see some popular pistol powders available for more than five minutes.

I thought about that...for about a minute...and figured I'd never see it if it was shipped to the store...not sure how "secure" it would be.

I recently ordered some hard to find .38 S&W ammo and had it shipped to my closest Bass Pro. I am sure you can do the same with powder and save on the HAZMAT and Shipping cost.

You might want to call and check with your nearest Bass Pro and see if it is already in stock. If not, order it and have it shipped to the store. They will email you when your order has arrived at the store.

I ordered some Unique last Sunday and the website shows that it is ready to be picked up at the store today. No shipping or hazardous materials fees involved. Not a bad deal if you have a store fairly close.

Wish I had one nearby. The closest store is far enough away that the fuel costs for a round trip exceed the hazmat fee.

Best,

I've been watching gunbot.net for powder availability. I've been able to catch some Unique, Tite Group, and AA#7 over the past couple weeks. Have seen Longshot, but no Trail Boss. Pistol powders are generally only available for 10 minutes before they sells out, so you need to watch the site pretty regularly. I keep it open on my computer at work and check it periodically. The only other option is to check your local stores regularly. I found a lb of Autocomp at a smaller gun shop a couple months ago. It was their last bottle of pistol powder.

You might need to consider alternatives in these times of shortages...
