AR 15 front sight ?

Have any of you guys painted the front sight on your AR 15 ?

I tried the painting route first with orange day g;ow and then green. Neither gave me the results I wanted. Next I tried the XS Sights 24/7 white stripe with the tritium insert and that made my day.

You can get colored plastic front sights online. One of the guys at the last match I shot was trying an orange one.
