THIS time I’ve got GOOD & BETTER things to report on from my 2nd outdoors shoot.
Firstly, I placed 13th out of 27 Standard Class shooters
Secondly I came 39th out of the total field of 68 competitors !
Definately a bigger improvement over my last go at the Kingaroy Grand Slam where I came 8th out of 8 Standard shooters & 32nd out of 36 competitors....grin
Oh & for the games guys, this WAS a Level 2 comp held under SUNNY blue skies in 86degs here in Australia.
What can I say but YEEEE HAAAAAA !!!!!

Nice going. Good feeling to measure an improvement in performance. I shot my first IPSC match last month. More of a cowboy and IDPA shooter. Came in dead last. I think that's why the guys all like me. Cause they don't have to worry about bottom rung of the ladder anymore. But, boy did I have fun!! I will definitely be back. No where to go but up!!

The great thing about most competitions are the fact that regardless of where you place, it's an extremely fun enviroment. You can pick up a lot of great things from the long-time shooters.

Heard a good quote about this lately for new competitors:
"Look at the people who are finishing above you today. Soon, that will be you. Then you can look back and see how much you have improved."
Good to see people having a blast running and gunning!
