.357 mag Berry's 158gr fp PLATED

I have a few .357 Berrys 158gr FP I was going to load in a 357 mag case. Someone was nice enough to send me Load data on Raniers bullets done by Midway. Assuming PLATED info would be same for Berry's, Ranier, and West Coast Xtreme. In the Raniers/Midway data, it lists Titegroup start load of 5.4gr and max 6.1gr. I cross checked 158gr Hornady XTP (JACKETED) with Titegroup on the Hodgdon website, and the load data was identical. I thought the plated data should be much less than jacketed data. Does anyone have any official Berry's load data for the 158gr fp and titegroup that could verify this as a safe starting load?

The data you have is correct. In shooting plated bullets I find that as long as the velocity doesn't exceed 1500'ps, the data will pretty much remain the same. After 1500'ps, velocities drop for plated as the plating will start to shed. It was recommended by Rainier to never load a plated bullet past 1800'ps or expect issues. There has not been any published data from Berrys that I am aware of.
