Remington .22

I have an old Remington .22,Well i think its old.My granddad past it down to me.I am no gun expert,In fact i dont know a thing about guns..All i know about the rifle is it is a .22 and its Remington.Also I have never seen one like it..This .22 has a clip very small clip which holds proably 10 rounds.Has anyone seen a gun like this b4?Is it rare?Is it old?Any info or help i would really appriciate much...I will be waiting for you replys..THANK YOU

It will help if you have the model name and/or number. It should be stamped on the barrel somewhere. Most likely will say Remington model______ also need the first several numbers of the serial #. Without this info no way to know value or age.

If it is a bolt-action the first suspect would be the 511. Great rifle - I've got a 512 (same thing in a tube-fed magazine).
