Anyone ever swapped a red laser for green?

I've got the M6 laser/flashlight from Insight. It works great and operation is really easy. Only thing I don't like is the red laser is impossible to see in broad daylight, understandably. Has anyone ever swapped a red for green in one of these things? Or would you think it's possible? I tried asking the manufacturer if they would do it but it's discontinued so they said no.

I have the same laser/light. I use it on my home defense guns, so indoors and night time.

I am getting a green laser for my carry weapon so I will be able to use it in the daylight.

Your best bet would probably be to get one of the many green laser options available now.

I never had a red because of the reason you want it.

Even my SiteLite bore sighter is green and I can see the laser @ 100 yds in the daytime. It is much more visible on a cloudy day (obviously) and can be seen good at 100. My buddies always request that I bring it when they get something new, or new to them.
