Best Mount & optics for an AK-47?
Need some feedback on the captioned subject.

The best options (IMHO) are going to be either a scout setup using a gas tube rail or an optic using the side rail. I prefer the side rail myself. The top cover rails/scope mounts are worthless junk. The PK series of combloc scopes are my preference. I have a PK-A, a PK-23-01 as well as a Cobra red dot sight and a few POSP and PSO scopes. All mounted on side rail mounts. I have had no problems and highly recommend this type of setup. Just make sure you get the right mount for your side rail type. Hope this helps.

Yes, I have heard Ultimak is the best mount for AK and it's variants.

Comparing Aimpoint Micro T-1 or H-1 & EOtech 577 which one is better.

LordOfWar, I have the EOtech, and am 100% satisfied with it.
The Aimpoint does beat it in battery life by a long shot though.

With regards to the Aimpoint h1 or t1 and use with the ultimak rail. Do you need an additional mount to cowitness the iron sites?
