Cross Hairs

I am just looking for some information about the cross hair size. If one minute cross hairs cover 1 inch at 100 yards, how much do they cover at 200yds., 300 yds., and at 400 yds.?
We are talking about a 3-9 variable scope if that could make a difference.

Assuming the same magnification
2" @ 200
3" @ 300
4" @ 400
5" #500
& so on.

Thank you, I am going Antelope hunting and I will have to use the cross hairs as a range finder.

A laser rangefinder is by far the best way to go, for determining accurate distances.
