Yeah we didnt take the meat from these pigs.. A rotten roo was what drew them out from the bush that evening.. I counted 18 all up and they were fighting over the stinking flesh..

This roo was full of maggots and the stink was unbearable. The pigs finally had enough and wandered onto the wheat and thats where i shot these two. I used my .243 from about 200yds.

The goat was a 23 inch billy taken with my mates .300wm.

Ill post other pics if yous want..

Where would you have to go to take on one of those Asian Buffalo. Ever consider that?

Also, how'd that goat taste?

Asian buff? Do you mean our water buff.

We didnt eat that one just took the horns.

I shot a couple of younger ones for meat. Goat basically tastes like lamb.

Here is a couple of photos of some meat animals i butchered for dinner..

First photo is not a meat animal that was another nice head i shot on the same afternoon..

The other two photos are a couple of young ones we shot for meat..

G'day. You guys at TFL are so lucky, somebody sent me an email with 83 photos attached I'll post some of his pictures if you want.

Try Asia.
The Northern Territory has what we call Water Buffalo. I think they are basically the same animal.

Wait a moment, 6 of the pictures have already been posted.

G'day. It looks like the channel country of the MIA/Western plains. I saw lots of goats last time I drove through, especially south of Cobar. I think you are trying to entice me into a hunting trip next time I head down. I need a good set of Goat horns so that I can stir my brother some more.

Good to hear from some southerners. I've only been to Perth & Fremantle (WA) but can't help but think the Aus. bush would br a great place to hunt. Keep the posts coming! Nasty Pig eating rotten Roo, prolly kind of like nasty Bear eating Salmon

No hogdogs none that met the bullet from my dads .222. My old man and uncle did see one cross a track one night spotlighting, but the bugger was gone in a flash..

This time i did see a few foxes but left them alone because we didnt want to spook any pig that might of been on the next crop.

Plenty of goats and rabbits to be shot and roos. With the goats i was only looking for good heads 20+ inches.. And young ones for meat.
