ADI Powders return to full production

http://www.adi-powders.com.au/handlo...news.asp#item0

Gets relabled as Hodgdon. Clays is AS30, International is AS50 and Universal is AP70.

Yep. Been seeing the Clays line popping up here and there the last couple weeks. That should begin taking significant pressure off of the others and speed the recovery along.

Yes indeed.

I saw Clays, International, and Universal on the shelves of my gun shop last week.

From the link above:

Bench Mark 8208 launches at Shot Show
13 June 2012
ADI Powders is launching its extruded Bench Mark 8208 propellant at this week's Shot Show in Sydney, responding to consumer demand for a product that has gained significant plaudits overseas.
I know they make many Powders in Australia, including Hogdon's Varget.

Does this mean Benchmark and IMR 8208 are the exact same Aussie powder? I checked a few burn rate charts and they vary from "close" to "adjacent" depending on whose chart.

No. They run a different naming system. They already had Bench Mark (two words, over there) which is now Bench Mark 1, and then had Bench Mark 2. Bench Mark 8208 makes their third Bench Mark powder. I think Bench Mark must be becoming a series trademark there, like Reloader is for Alliant, here.

So, they are NOT the same powder. OK, thanks.

I did notice the loading data was similar, but with some differences in both 223 and 308. The similar burning speeds looks like it males them competing products.
