magtech/cbc .308 case problems

Hi,
I was at the range today shooting my .308 handloads, i used fired magtech/CBC cases because a friend gave them to me. they looked ok and i had no issues resizing them.
bad suprise after firing i couldnt open the bolt of my ruger gsr because the cases where stuck...i had to hit the bolt with a rubber hammer to get it open (ruined my 200$ scope doing that..). the cases where stuck so hard that they ripped appart instead of coming out in one piece.
In 5 years of reloading I never had any issues like that with fired cases and i use everything i can find...never used magtech dough...
Can anyone tell me what the problem is with these cases?

With just the information you provided, I have to say,,--I dunno!

Was the load at max in whatever cases they were last loaded in?

Caliber-
Case Manu.,
Powder type and charge weight,
Primer #,
FL sized, or neck sized,
Bullet weight and manufacture.

I've used CBC cases, but only in handgun. They've always worked well.

That sounds like a serious over-pressure to me.

I've never had any issues like that with CBC brass.

Did you throw an established (hot) load into the new cases, without doing a proper load work-up?

Wrong powder?

Did this happen with a single case, or did you keep trying?

The load i used:
cbc/magtech case (once fired)
165gn Sierra gameking projectile
37gn Hodgdon H335
CCI Large rifle Primer

all of the cases where hard to extract, some more then others. Just 2 really got stuck so hard that i had to use the rubber hammer..
Thats a pretty soft load, specially made for the short-barreled Ruger gsr
+ I used some Nosler cases for the same load, no problems with them, just with the cbc cases.

I've never used cbc/magtech brass for 308, but I have used it with light wadcutter loads in 38 Special and had to beat the brass out of the cylinder because after expanding it did not spring back like other brass. I therefore throw every piece of cbc/magtech brass I get in the recycle bin. IMHO it is lousy brass.
